Microsoft Significantly Increases Bing API Search Pricing

The existing Microsoft Bing Search APIs will increase in price effective May 1, 2023. The price increase will apply to all markets.

While the pricing changes vary depending on which instance you’re using and how many transactions per second you want, here is one example:

Bing Web Search, Bing Image Search (100 Transactions Per Second):

  • Current Price: $4 per 1,000 transactions
  • New Price: $18 per 1,000 transactions

Significantly is bang on, 4* and then some on those numbers.

Will be very interesting to see what happens off the back of this, the motive is pretty obvious…
