Proton Launches Open Source Password Manager

The video on the blog also shows the manager filling in 2FA codes meaning the QR code/key goes into the password manager. Then the manager stores and fills in two-factor authentication codes while logging in.

Internet privacy company Proton this week announced the global launch of its open source password manager, Proton Pass.

Yeah. I’ve been beta testing it. I like it.

Worth noting only the clients are free software. They haven’t released the server software under a free license—or at all, actually. It’s not possible to self-host it. Repositories here.
