Searches done on the News or Substack tab only display one page of results and there is no page selector like there is for general web searches and image searches. The Substack tab might say there are hundreds or thousands of results but still only shows the first page with 10 results, while the News tab will say there are exactly 10 results even when its obvious there should be way more.
Many thanks for pointing this out. You are correct. We simply haven’t been asked about this much before. Both features do not index a very big set of sources. So unlike Web search the usefulness of multiple page search results is very limited. Still it’s something we should consider adding.
As I think you realised you can get to more than 10 results on Substack (but not News) using parameters like this for he second page:
