I found an article about online forms collecting typed data before you click submit.

according to new research: A surprising number of websites are collecting
some or all of your data as you type it into a digital form.

Since the findings indicate that deleting data in a form before submitting it
may not be enough to protect yourself from all collection, the researchers
created a Firefox extension called LeakInspector to detect rogue form

far as i know this is done with JS and can be done with any site where user input is allowed

hence why it is strongly suggested to disable JS globally if privacy is a concern, then enable only where needed

disabling JS globally breaks allot of sites - this will help in some instances: Display website content hidden by JavaScript
