Finding all the words specified

I searched on the words “vibrating calendar watch” but there were results that did not include “calendar”. I am looking for a search engine that does not do this. I thought Mojeek might be it but it isn’t.

Welcome @jsampson

I’m sorry that you did not find what you were looking for today.

Mojeek only has the ability to search for exact phrases–multiple words–like this:

(with quotes)

“vibrating calendar watch”

Currently, there is no way to force one particular keyword to be included in the search results.

By default, Mojeek tries to match every keyword that is entered. But, sometimes, there can be poor quality results if there isn’t a relevant page in the index. As Mojeek Bot continues to crawl the web, this aspect of Mojeek’s performance continually improves.

I hope you will give Mojeek another try in the future.

Welcome @jsampson to the community and thank you for posting. This is useful feedback.

Thanks for the reply @mike.

In case you are not aware keywords in the query will not always appear in the snippets. Even when you request longer snippets as I did here: https://www.mojeek.com/search?q=vibrating+calendar+watch&dlen=511.

Looking at the results, I got this link as #2: Top 10 Best Vibrating Watches in 2025 | Vibrating Alarm Watch and that has calendar on the page, even though it is not in the snippet. The same applies to the result #3 I got: A Little Vibration - Jeremy S Myers. However, as you will know some indeed do not include that calendar, and notably results #1 I got, Vibrating Watches | Independent Living Aids. You may have different results depending on your location and language settings. We will take a deeper look, and keep making improvements. So I hope you will try us again.

Update, I was wrong about this. When we crawled this page last in November 2024, this page had the word Calendar on it .

And the general rule is that if we return a page all the words are either on the page (when we crawled and indexed it) or in incoming links.

@mike suggested using quotes but that doesn’t help. All words included will be searched for; so there is no need to use quotes to have all them searched for.

Note that we use stemming, so if you had used the word watches, searches would also be made for watch. https://www.mojeek.com/search?q=vibrating+calendar+watches
